'In
Good King Arthur's Day' was recorded in Melbourne and launched at the
1994 Port Fairy Folk Festival. The Album came about when Graham met up
with a long time friend, Annie Lucas (nee Griffiths) who wanted to know
why he had not recorded an album of the many arrangements of traditional
songs he had been performing in the 70s.
So the originals album which had been on the drawing board at the time was put on hold and with the assistance of Annie and Laurie Lucas, 'In Good King Arthur's Day' was recorded at Ross Ryan's studio in Glen Iris. Ross's ears, possibly the best in the country, were the main ingredient in an amazingly clear digital hi-fi production. |
